Simple Exercise to Help With Carpal Tunnel and Tendinitis

We all spend more and more time on computers which can unfortunately lead to repetitive stress injury in our wrists and hands.

About 10 years ago I was struggling with pain and numbness in my wrists and hands. I would get shooting pains regularly up and down my arms and most nights would wake up to realize my hands and arms felt numb.

I was spending hours a day on the computer, so I assumed it was the beginning of carpal tunnel syndrome.

After a trip to the doctor, I was diagnosed with tendinitis of the wrists. I was told it would not get any better unless I could cut back on the repetitive use of my hands and wrists. That unfortunately was not an option.

I did some research on my own and realized that I could shift this pain by performing daily exercises to loosen and strengthen these muscles.

In the video below you will see an exercise I perform  throughout the day that has totally eliminated my pain.

The key to avoiding wrist problems is to stop several times during the day and practice this exercise.

Did you try it along with me? Could you feel how good that stretch felt in your wrists?
